Paypal vs Ebay gift card

Will Paypal take the money from my Paypal account, before I can use an Ebay gift card? Should I transfer the funds out of my paypal account in order to use the Ebay gift cards? Thanks folks
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

    When you pay, before you get transfered to the paypal page, there is a spot to enter in ebay codes, gift certificate #s, etc, so that gets taken out before you pay the balance with your paypal.
