Can a PSA 7 card have a tiny dot or small line on the card or is that on the PSA case.

It's hard to tell if the Carlton RC I have has a line on the card or on the case and I was wondering can PSA 7's have a problem like that?

Do you have a scan of it or is your scanner still broke or is it at work or your friend borrowed it or no scanner at all?

that card is very clean.. a print line on the back would be acceptable for a 7

It wasnt acting tough but come on now first the Jim Brown scanner debacle and now this - scanning the front when the line is on the back.

If you got a new paint job on your car and wanted an opinion on it would you post a picture of just the tires?

If you buy a used car it is imperitive that you kick the tires.

I feel like I'm being punked.

That's one hell of a nice 7 RC - I have an 8 and that 7 looks just as nice!

If there's a print defect on the back, I don't see that as a problem - very nice 7.

It is a nice 7. I would say it seems accurate though. The corners look slightly soft
  • Maybe the back is fake.

Says the guy that's been here a month. What was the name of your last ID?

I've owned a few PSA 9's, no qualifiers, with ink smears and marks on the back.

I said "owned" because I got rid of these cards because to me the back of the card is just as important as the front in a high grade card. I never again will purchase a high grade card off ebay without seeing a scan of the back.

    That's no line. That's Fritz Ackley's unibrow.

  • What is up with Fritz's left eye?
  • I agree but I don't consider a 7 a "high grade". To me this card is very clean and one tiny speck doesn't bother me. I also have a couple 9's with print defects that I didn't notice until I got the card in hand.

    Billsfan:

    Help me out, please . . .

I'm thinking of buying of buying a Thurman Thomas 1989 Score PSA 10 RC. What do you think about the holder? Any frosting on the edges?

    image

Sorry, the scan is not the card I'm interested in, but the seller's scanner is broken and he left the card at work. I hope this image helps.
  • Who's Thurman Thomas?
  • the carlton looks like a fake and thomas has been cracked out and replaced with a nine, good job on the thomas I don't see any frosting . On the carlton whats that crap on the front of the card next to carlton ?

no need for anyone to reply because i am always right even when I'm wrong. imageimageimage

I also think it is fake. There is no MLB team called the Cards.

I don't see anyone in this thread that helped.

Do you not understand how stupid the question was? Ask for opinions on condition of the back of a card but only provide a scan of the front? Really?
