Thome has 124 at bats this year. He has 21 extra base hits. 10 doubles, a triple, and 10 HR's. He's like a secret weapon in Minnesota---except it can't be much of a secret. Teams are also walking him alot. His OBP is over .380

He needs 26 HR's for 600. He'll do it next year.

    The more he faces Detroit, the better his chances. I was furious when MIN picked him up, because he has done nothing but OWN Detroit pitching since coming to the majors.... 63 HR against us in his career!
