One rare Lemieux early autograph card

After searching for 8 years for this Lemieux early signature Canadian Juniors card, I finally picked this up last week from a guy in Canada. Within a few days after purchasing it i met a guy from Chicago who just sold 25 of them to a private Lemieux collector in PA. All 25 were signed at once in 1984 with his first signature..... image

I've always like that card. It even looks better with a sig on it.
    Great pickup. image
  • That is an awesome Lemieux sig. Don't ever let that one get away. Not too many of those around.

I don't actively collect hockey cards (I have a few) but that is a really cool one.

    Thank you for sharing.

If you don't mind me asking, what's one of those go for?

  • Hello,
I'm not real sure what its worth but when i take it to the National it will be the first one graded and authenticated to date. I would guess about $300-$400 or more depending on the grade. My scanner glass needs to be cleaned but the only real issues are the bottom both corners are slightly white. I would say it grades either a 7.5 or 8. The guy who i bought some of Lemieux's rarest signatures from 1984 before he even played pro just sold 25 of them to a private collector in PA. I missed the boat on those by 2 months or i would of bought all of them. He sold them for $100.00 each.... WOW so cheap!
I just put 2 1984 Pittsburgh Penguins Calendars from Heinz on Ebay where Lemieux signed them both with his first signature just when his career started in October or 1984 and then 1 year later on the anniversary of his first year in the Pro's.
