I am trying to delete this post. I just changed to a Mac and for some reason, or maybe it is the new Flickr page, I cannot seem to paste.

OK. I got the link to work, but I have no idea why the imager is not working.

OK. Now I think that I have it figured out. It's the new (expletive deleted) Flickr page. I just opted out and I think my link will work now.

    What in the world is going on with these? I am seeing threads on these coins nearly every day. Are these a hot item? They seem so drab.

    No it was a red X but I looked at them on google yesterday after seeing like 2 other posts mentioning them and thought MEH

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with Chuchill Crowns. They are beautiful coins that some collectors think are ugly. Their loss.

    I like Churchill Crowns. I do. Seriously. I don't know why people don't like them.

    I remember back in the day when they could be acquired fro 50c each.

    I'm familiar with the Churchill Crown that is the butt of so many jokes and jabs. That's not it. What's the story on this one?

    What's the story on this one?

    No story. I just wanted to show a Churchill medal and thought the subject line catchy, I guess. And by the way, I also do not see a problem with the Churchill crown. Plain and upfront, like the man. As we all know, there are plenty of genuinely mundane pieces out there.

    There's nothing wrong with the Churchill crown per se, it's the 20 million that's the problem. That's probably more than all the previous crown added together. They were practically giving them away in cereal packets just to get rid of them.
