ok two headed 1922 peace dollar sold on ebay

    They are called magician coins and are made by machining down two coins and joining them together. You can usually see the seam just inside the rim on one side of the coin.

    EOC, would it be possible (maybe in another galaxy) for a struck dime to be struck by cent dies, then restruck by dime dies for a 21¢ piece? Could the coin re-seat itself back into the dime collar or is this pure fantasy on my part? That would surely command some major league $$$.

    No, can't happen as it is now to big to fit in the dime collar.
