Anyone know "raregreekcoins" on ebay???

He has a couple of items I am thinking of bidding on that will go for significant (to me) money but I don't know who it is.

Wondering how he knows/can claim some of his pieces are "proof of record".

Nothing indicated on the holder and the differences are pretty subtle are they not?

No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey.
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.

Any proof from the off years, when they did not issue regular proof sets, is by definition a proof of record.

I have seen some high end material by them before.

Dimitri has his reservations about this seller. I hope he chimes in with his take on him.

Thats why I ask the question, I was really questioning if the seller knew enough to know if they were indeed proofs or not. Not that a TPG would ever make a mistake on these...

and thanks WWW, if Dmitri has reservations about the seller that's probably all I need to know.

Yes, true they (TPGs) do NOT always get proof status right. Grading is yet another issue on them. Well, caveat emptor!
