I bought an old "Library of Coins" album of Liberty Nicklels.....

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    V nickels in general are hiney ugly, but that's an exception. I wouldn't mind having that one in my 7070. I might actually fill that hole one day if I could find one like that.

    For whatever reason the 1912 is by far the most commonly found toned liberty nickel from my observations.

    Interestingly, the mint of orgin does not seem to have much of an effect; the 1912-d, 1912-s, and 1912 all come spectacularly toned!
    Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!
