What's up with this variety in AU????? Isn't this an extremely common variety? Is there anything I'm missing that would make this coin jump up to be noticed??? I know the Type C to be 'the one' for '64-D, but I don't think I've ever seen a Type A graded (if it's even worth the fees to have holdered?).
I'll come up with something.

Yet, attributed type A's must be rare. Who would bother to pay the attribution fee?
