Any way to remove scratches from a PSA case?

Besides sending it in for reholdering, is there something I can do to clean this up? It's a nice card, but the scuffed case looks horrible.

I'm not sure if it works on PSA slabs...but there is a product I have seen on Ebay for coin slabs called "Slab Renew" that supposedly does wonders for the PCGS slabs. You might want to check into that. I haven't used it, but have seen many before and after pics. image

$18! Is this something I can find at Home Depot in a generic form?

I did a google search and found some coin guys saying that a product called PlastX is good for coin slabs.

This looks like something I could get at the auto parts store. Anyone use it before?

I would think so, but I am not sure. You may need to check and see what the ingredients are and then look for something similar

Whatever you use to "polish" the slab is just working like a rubbing compound and eats away at the plastic. I'd feel more comfortable putting up the money to get it reholdered.

I found a "plastic polish" at Pep Boys that works great. My guess is any auto parts store will have something that works.

Its an old flip. Is the card a strong 8? Upon review would it get a .5 bump? If so maybe take that route. I seen 8.5s of that card sell for over 200 bucks. If not then I would suggest just paying to get it reholdered.
