1972 Topps Jim Nash Proof Variant

I picked up a cool proof variant today...Jim Nash card #401...with a Topps All Star Rookie trophy:

Nash was a rookie...in 1966.

Looks like Topps corrected this before they went to press:

    Could be. According to his book he"'handled over 5000" of the 1972s in the 5 years prior to 1993
    Topps Baseball-1948, 1951 to 2017
    Bowman Baseball -1948-1955
    Fleer Baseball-1923, 1959-2007
