1921 E121 (80) American Caramel cards

I have some cards that I am hoping to get a little advice on. I know the Pop reports are very low on these cards and there isn't alot of history I can find on the appropriate value. I bought them at a local estate auction and then had them graded all but the Hornsby. The Hornsby is in rough shape. I am a little familiar with sending in cards to PSA and I talked with a guy online who is a collector before I had them graded. I was told there are size requirements for them to grade these cards. The hornsby is about 1/32nd narrower on the bottom and about 1/8th narrower than the size limits. It doesn't look as if it has been trimmed as far as wear on the edges but I figured I would be wasting my time with the condition of the front and back. I am looking to get a fair price but I don't want to price them too high.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. I have some more scans of these cards if anyone would like something better. I just didn't want to post too large of photos on here.

Thanks

I'd still get the Hornsby graded - even if it ends up being trimmed, perhaps PSA would grade it AUTHENTIC. If not, you could alswys send it SGC and they would grade it authentic.

Agreed................get the Hornsby graded, even if it comes back Authentic thier is still a market for "Raja". Hornsby may be the greatest right handed hitter to ever play.

Great looking cards! I would just get a one day pass to vintage card prices to get an idea of what they sell for. I would also echo those above and get the Hornsby graded atleast authentic. Commons seem to go as low as $25 in psa 4, but some commons seem to be harder to find than others. Your best bet is to spend th $5 on VCP and get some real prices. Good luck with the sales.

    T222's PSA 1 or better
  • Thank you all for some good advice. I am going to try it all out.
