Around The League: 1939-1946 DVD Rare Color Footage

I had the pleasure of reviewing former Major League outfielder George Case's collection of color home footage (which has been digitally remastered) from 1939-1946 for a DVD entitled "Around the League: 1939-1946". The DVD is a wonderful look into an era of baseball that we rarely ever get to see in color, and that is from the pre WWII era.

Here is a link to the full review, with information on how to purchase it. It's really rare footage that I think many baseball fans on here would enjoy.

I love 1940's color baseball footage...you really feel like you're there when shot out of those little hand held cameras

I think what is different about movies from then is that we're so used to just seeing still photographs. Very cool!
