why does psa prefer these as opposed to ultra pro or other types os semi ridgid holders?

I don't think they prefer them over the other similarly sized and constructed semi-rigid holders. CardSaver has become somewhat colloquial rather than specific. Sort of like Band-Aid (even though it may be another brand of bandage) or Kleenex (even though it may be another brand of facial tissue).
