I see a lot of people here who say that GU will lose its value.. but then why is it that EVERY SINGLE game used jersey / floor / net / ball / referee / shoe is bought on eBay? if there's an Iverson jersey that lists for $50, ppl will give $20-$25 for it..
my guess is that GU will always keep its value..

My theory here is that it may keep it's value like you said for maybe a few more years then once people realize that there is so many different kinds of game used that even the rarest players are going to be easily attainable for a low price. The issue now is that the sellers are still keeping the prices at the rate they are because there are still not that many game used, in a few years they will lower the prices because you will be more in competetion with others to make money. Just wait a few years and we'll see about the prices. Chris.

maybe.. but look at how many , I don't know, Iverson or Kobe jerseys are out there, and every single one of 'em, regardless bv sells for AT LEAST $15, even warm-ups

true but what about in 5 years when each season 20 new types of game used come out for each player? Prices are gonna drop. They are lower now already, check on the prices you can find that most players have gone down already. The card companies will need something new fast. First they had the regular cards and rookies, then inserts, then you had the refractors, then you had the redeemable cards and autographs, now the game used cards next ????? Who knows
