Carlos Santana (Indians) rookie card?

Hi all, for PSA set registry purposes, does any know what Santana's "recognized" rookie card will be? Thanks for all responses!

Unfortunately it won't be in an Indians uniform.

Something from 08 Bowman Chrome. Like this one.

This kid can simply stroke the baseball. Good to see someone with some pop in his bat in the lineup!!

was watching a local talk show where they had one of the folks tied into the Indians team shops and they were joking about having baseball jerseys made with both Carlos's on it, the ball player on one side and the guitar player on t he other....could even work

PSA looks to Beckett to tell them what a "rookie card" is, and Beckett is complying with MLB's "rookie card" rule, which basically means, only a card with the official "MLB Rookie Card" logo is an acceptable rookie card, if the player's first MLB licensed cards were produced in 2006 or later.

That being said, none of Carlos Santana's cards are "official MLB Rookie Cards" yet, so Beckett won't call them rookie cards, and neither will PSA.

To heck with all that though. I say, if 2008 is the first year he appeared on an MLB licensed baseball card, then THAT is his rookie card.

In this case, he has 2008 Bowman Chrome and an autographed 2008 Bowman Sterling. Go for the card with the ink.
