RIP wonder if he could have been saved? Stevens-Johnson syndrome may have been caused by his kidney meds, the syndrome is a side effect for a number of meds. 47 is way to young to die. Manute was a real asset to the world.

Remember him in Bowie, Md. bowling alley shooting pool sbout 20 years ago when he played with the Bullets, knees were above the table. Gentle giant and always smiling. RIP

Wow, way too early. I loved to watch him play. Interesting that he only averaged 2.6 ppg. Bet you can't name me a more popular / significant player with a lesser average.
