Ok a friend of mine gave me a bunch of his coins to go thru, since i don't have a clue, thought i would ask about this coin. on the folder its in it says -900 gold 0482 oz the coin looks to be uncirculated and has a letter m at the bottom tiny little coin lol just wondering if this is a collectable to anyone and does pcgs even grade these? And if anyone might have a value of such a coin. Thanks for any info image

2 peso coins are indeed .900 fine gold, and the .0482 weight. Unless the piece appears to be spectacular it is not worth the while to have it graded and it will not add value if you don't think it is going to make MS-65 or better. One of the factors that predicates this is that the coins were rather "handled" when they were struck, from worn out dies etc. I would really like one of the 50 peso coins in MS-67-8 myself, but they are pretty scarce in those lofty grades.
