A couple of raw Shilling NEWP's

These are recent purchases from across the pond, both described as GEF by the dealer. They are actually about AU59 1/2, really clean but just slight traces of wear, hard to tell if they will grade these MS 6X or not, but we shall see.

1820 with unbarred H in Honi, not lsted by Spink but a pretty well known common variety:



1821 is a one year type with a very interesting reverse design:

Did that '21 type actually circulate? I'm not at all familiar with these.

Yes the '21 circulated, however it is one of the keys to the shilling set since it was only a 1 year type. It is a relatively high mintage coin, around 2.3 million, but they sell for more money than they should because you need them both for a shilling year set and a shilling type set.
