    Yes they identified it however was wondering if it's value is just melt or does it have any historical or collectilble value as well?

    Are gold bars from Asia being counterfeited these days? That bar looks crude and wouldn't be too hard to fake.

    I believe I've seen authentic pieces with their original wrapping sell for a premium over melt.

    Something about that piece looks off to me. But it should be easy enough to scratch test and/or weigh.
