modern group rip?

i havent seen any group rips lately. i'll be happy to call BBCE to put something together. i was thinking about some modern options like 93 sp baseball, 2005 hockey (crosby), 2003 basketball (james), 1996 basketball (kobe), 1998 or 2000 football sp (manning, brady) 2001 baseball... it all depends on what BBCE has... but i would like to get boxes that would have the best rookie in it.. like SP for 98 football. i'm not sure what the best is for some of the other years. i'm open to any ideas. open to whatever everyone wants. i guess we come up with 5 or 6 top choices and then i'll work with bbce to see what steve has.

I heard back from steve today. He does have 1998 SP authentic boxes for 550 a box. all of the basketball and hockey he has is listed... and he had boxes of 01 finest baseball that was not on the website yet. I really don't know anything about baseball cards after 1993. so its up to everyone else what box or boxes they want to include in the rip. We will get the standard 10% discount. so far this is what i was thinking. Any hockey or basketball collectors.. feel free to check out the BBCE and suggest a better box. I think those were the best options from what was available. i would have like to get something a bit more high end but its better than nothing.

I personally think it's a great variety. I ripped football and basketball for the first time ever during the last rip, and doing hockey would be a blast. I give that selection a thumbs up!

Anyone know what are the odds for the 98 SP Authentic? Has anyone ripped this before? I see there are only 126 cards in the set and the rookies are /2000. How many rookies are in an average box?

Just going to throw in that the 2001 Bowman Chrome Baseball has a redemption for the Pujols RC. So that card would not be pulled.

How do you guys want to do this? Since there are 24 packs in each box lets try to sell this in Lots of one of each pack. If this fails miserabley we will just sell packs from each box. It is 49.60 per lot plus 6 bucks shipping. It is $1 for each additional lots. I thought the shipping was a little high for 4 packs but that is was steve quoted me. Once its sold out send payment to BBCE with your username.

I think breaking it up is better call, maybe put a 3 pack limit per sport so that lots of people can get in on it.
