Just noticed a real triple crown threat

Miguel Cabrera. He could be in all the races for awhile. If the batting average leader comes down around .340 this could get real interesting. No one is running away with the HR title this year and you no longer have to hit 60 or 70.

yeah but the RBI's should be coming at a slower pace in the near future. A lot of his production there stems from Austin Jackson's unsustainable .418 BABIP(batting avg on balls in play) inflating his average from the Tigres leadoff slot(not to mention Jackson's 26.8% K rate. Damon will always get on base at a decent clip in the 2-hole, but when Jackson comes back down to earth coupled with the worst bottom of the order hitting in the majors, unless the Tigres swap Mags and Miggy in #3 and #4 holes, his RBI's should be due for the inevitable market correction.
  • He is one of my least favorite MLB players, so I REALLY hope that doesnt happen.

If the Triple Crown were re-defined using 1) lowest batting average 2) most strikeouts when the bases are loaded and 3) # of days missed without actually having an injury, then Nate McLouth will be in the running this year as well.
