Having trouble posting an image

Opened an account with Photobucket. When I cut and paste in the message box
I am only getting the picture link address instead of the picture. How do I get
the picture?

Did you preview your post? It may already be in there/

When I preview the post there is just an x in a box where the picture should be.

Did you strip away everything that is outside of the [IMG] tag?

You don't need to open the image box to post here. Use the 4th option on the photobucket drop down menu where your pic is. It says IMG Code and already includes the image tags you need to post here. By using the image box here you are double dipping codes and it is messing it up on you.

If you want to use the image box here, use the address labeled "Direct Link" and looks like a normal website address, like "http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/...........jpg"

The one labeled "IMG Code", you can just copy and paste directly.

If you use the image box above and the "Direct Link" address, it will put the IMG bracket things around your http address, making it the same thing.
