MSD61 and a 1787 6d

I purchased a 1787 6d from forum member MSD61 in the last couple of weeks from the buy/sell board. Coin arrived today and is just lovely. This is just a shout out to MSD61 thanking him for his prompt and friendly PM's and an excellent coin. Here is the coin in question:

    I rather like these brightly colored bits when presented as this coin is - there seems to be more character to the king depicted, instead of the rather lifeless silver bit that it was when struck or worse yet when dipped. I suppose there is always the issue of NT vs. AT, but who cares the coin is attractive!

    It looks like 220 year old silver should look. There are too many dipped coins out there. It is always nice to see natural random toning.
