2010 UD Sweet Spot Football Opinion

Are any of the football collectors out there looking forward to this product?Sweet Spot

The only issue I have is that the college uniforms and logos remind me of a cheap Press Pass or SAGE product. I know that Topps Magic did well initially, but I don't see much interest beyond that.

It will be popular to a point. The Tebow croud will love it. Some cool stars like Barry Sanders, Manning and Brees are ok in their old college uni's.

I hate the made up helmet logos already. It looks like they are making up crap to put on helmets like the "Hook em Horns" logo on the UT helmet.

Also the Topps Magic set was based on a vintage set and design. This is basically a modern set using college logos. I predict people will just buy their singles they want and key RC's will be way below similarly priced sets using NFL logos.
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set

It will be an interesting novelty at first, since it looks like the quality of the auto inserts will be high.

What scares me is the 6 auto OR jersey per box hit ratio. 6 autos is great, 1 or 2 out of a $100 box blows.
