so...the top three prospects in baseball will all be playing in the majors as of tuesday.

Heyward is having an amazing start to the year and now the number 2 seed Strasburg and the 3rd seed Stanton will both debut Tuesday.

And the surprises that most aren't anticipating will be when Jake Arrieta gets a shot with the O's next week and Jeremy Hellickson finally gets called up by the Rays...

I just hope Stanton doesn't end up being Mark Reynolds in the OF...

they both technically had 4 years of minor league service...and coincidentally are only separated by 1 plate appearance. 1393 for Reynolds, 1392 for Stanton.

Reynolds - .280/.360/.525 - 322 Ks
Stanton - .274/.369//569 - 371 Ks

Stanton played in more hitter friendly environs...while Reynolds played 1+ years in South Bend where I watched him struggle mightily (.253/.319/.454 - 500 PAs) in what is quite possibly the toughest hitters yard in all of professional baseball.

so yeah, Stanton can very easily become the Mark Reynolds of RFers.
