I'd add my thoughts on counterfeits and those that sell them but I think most know my views by now.

What is your position on miscut counterfeits? Would they gain entry into the Hall?

To be absolutely 100% honest I have zero use for counterfeits of any kind in my collection.

Authorized reprints yes, this crap that is sold day in and day out as a reprint but no stamp on eBay and elsewhere, no thanks. My personal feeling is if I can't afford the real thing I won't stoop to putting garbage in my collection just to say I have a copy of it.

But maybe that's just me that feels this way.

30 days from now scam artists will be selling these as grandpa's attic collection. Eventually someone will get ripped off. Sad thing is knowledgeable collectors won't touch these with a ten foot pole but rookies will put these in their collection and years from now will find out they are fakes and be very disappointed when they go to sell their collection to pay the morgage. Sad.

Looks like he buys MonaVie items, which means this scammer likes to BE scammed too.
  • I looked at a few of the listings and I guess my initial impression is that I would not go so far as to call him a "scam artist". He does make it very clear in his auction description that these cards are not the real McCoy. It would be nice if "reprint" were somewhere in the title as well, but you can't have everything.

The only real problem I have with these auctions is that some of the people who purchase the cards, in all likelihood, will try to pass them off to others as genuine.
