horrible eye appeal--especially the nose area. Technical grade is probably AU58. This one should be lightly dipped, IMHO.

I agree with you on the eye-appeal. But the price was right for the grade so I pulled the trigger.

<< <i>toning and coloration make it difficult to grade. Unable to clearly see the surfaces. Could be anything fron au55 to ms 65.

Can you provide a little better picture of the surfaces? I can't see any tics or abraisons, however the coin gives the appearance of having

    some wear. >>

Sorry MOC. That's the best image I could get. I'm using a Canon Rebel Xsi with a Sigma 105 mm Macro lens. I agree the lighting could be better, but those are pretty good representations of how the coin looks in hand. I've always claimed it's next to impossible to grade a coin from photos alone, but some folks are pretty good at it.

    Cheers!

    MS 62 image

Is this in a PCGS holder?

The pic is very large, that can make a toned coin look bad,

I think it would look alot better in hand (do you have a smaller pic?)

    Thank You Papabear image

Papabear, this coin is in PCGS plastic and I've added smaller images in the OP. Check it out.

I can see it is graded accurately, but that nose thingy just makes it "not for me" image
