John Wooden (1910-2010)

He was just a few months short of 100. But I'm sure lived a very long happy life and that's what matters.

I have wondered whether or not if Wooden ever felt he retired too early-

Great coach- hard to argue against him as being the best EVER

We should have started with one of the best people and worked from there.

Being born and raised in west Los Angeles by dual Bruin parents, who went to school during Wooden's hey day in the 60's, I thought I had heard every Wooden story. Great to hear some more this weekend. What an amazing man. I had the pleasure of seeing him talk about 10 years ago and he was amazing at 89 or 90. He captivated the room.
