I really do wish you all the best with your sale, but I have some thoughts I want to make public.

You've been here about 2 months, started 28 threads, and do not make many posts of substance. Now suddenly you have this PSA 9 Jordan that you want to sell here for $300+ below what it would normally sell for on eBay, and will only take certified bank funds or a money order.

You may be a scammer, or you may be totally legit but just a nutbar. Either way I want the good members of this forum to have this info before deciding if they want to risk their hard earned money with you.

Chris - put it on EBAY with BIN for $975, payment by paypal. Then we'll know its legit and feel comfortable with the transaction

The buyer needs some sort of comfort or protection and Paypal offers that
  • I'm thinking about accepting paypal. If I do, I want references.

Edited to add: I posted this pic after reading his nutjob response about him not trusting anyone on these boards (before he edited it).

    References?

If I felt you were legit, I'd buy it.

    You want references on me?

With the mindset you've shown, you would doubt any were legit. If you want references on my ability to pay, the likelihood that I'll pay or the probability that I will follow through on what I agree to on these boards, all you have to do is ask the balance of the board. I'm sure there are at least one or two other members that could vouch for me...

You, on the other hand, cause me to hesitate to the point of passing on what appears to be a solid deal.

You guys can call me names, but that still doesn't take away the fact that I'm still an honest person. I don't scam anyone.

Lets follow the chain of events here...

    1) You offer to sell Jordan RC @ $250 - $450 below where psa 9's trade.
    2) Some board members think "great deal, I'm interested."
    3) Other board members notice that you've suggested Cashiers Check / Money Order as means of payment.
    4) McAdams silently recollects that he hasn't paid for a card this way in over a decade and wonders if you just got an interet connection for the first time in the last few months or if you're setting up someone for a bad transaction.
    5) A proposal is made that you sell the card and accept paypal, since paypal is widely recognized for buyer protections against fraud, etc.
    6) You are no longer intersted in selling the card.

Perhaps you can fill in the blanks between event 5 and event 6?
