Hats off to Griffey and his great first ballot Hall of Fame career.

That's exactly what Chipper said at the beginning of the year when he had gotten off to a really slow start this year. These guys perform at such a high level for so long and the second they drop to mediocrity it becomes depressing to the point where they don't even want to do it anymore. That competitive nature is amazing, and pretty admirable.
