Who was the narrator, The Penguin?
I don't recall any TV commercials for them but did read about them in coin mags back then, when I first became a collector in my pre-teens.

thanks for linking that video, i had not seen this one before

at 0:20 into the video the script reads ".....between 1870 and 1893...."

just wondering if any seated dollars/trade dollars were included in the GSA holdings or if that was an error and it was supposed to read, 1878

The non-CC GSA dollars in the blue envelope mylat holders are known to contain Seated dollars.
An 1864-P was shown in this Coin Forum a few years back.

Very cool. Liked the scene where the lady was placing a coin in the GSA slab.

I recently saw Burgess Meredith in a Twilight Zone episode "The Obsolete Man". Burgess Meredith was a genius of an actor. I've been losing alot of sleep watching old Twilight Zone episodes at 10 pm. image

I have this GSA video somewhere, as it was reproduced by Michael Craven on VHS. Craven was a real nice guy and was working on a documentary on the U.S. Mint when he was killed in a road-rage incident in 2000.
