Ubaldo Jimenez looks like he is throwing a Whiffle Ball

Have you guys seen this guys seen this guy pitch? His pitches literally look like a Whiffle Ball coming to the plate. Baseball Tonight said that his cut fastball has 9 inches of lateral movement coming in on a right handed batter. You can see it moving across the plate. This guy is one amazing pitcher.

I got to see him pitch in Colorado this year, he is unbelievable...

I don't know what happened between this year and his two previous years. He was 12-12/3.99 in 2008, and 15-12/3.47 in 2009. So far this year he's 10-1/0.78!! Man... can he keep this up?

EDIT: Not to mention 26 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run!

After the less-than-awesome "duel" between Lincecum and Jimenez, I noticed an interesting fact about Ubaldo... he surrendered Barry Bonds' final HR.

    Digicat,
I don't even want to think of him and Barry in the same sentence.---Especially when he's pitching like Walter Johnson on steroids. You don't have a crystal ball or anything, do you?image

No no no, I'm not making any accusations or allusions to sterodis.

Just saying that it's ironic that the last guy on the list of Bonds' bombs looks to be in line to end the consecutive Cy Young Award streak by the guy who replaced Bonds as the face of the Giants.
