Ever since I was a kid I can remember wanting a Mantle card. I can now say that I own one. For me this is the most eye appealing Mantle card out there. I love the color. I thought I got a reasonable deal on ebay for this one. Been saving up to purchase it and waiting for one that I thought would look nice to add to my collection.

Nice! I don't think there's a "bad" Mantle card out there. +1. I have a couple of Mantle's that I collected as a kid and even though they graded out as only PSA 1 Pr-Fr they still are special to me.

I love the 58 A.S. Mantle card...as you said the design is great, the color is outstanding. The Mick taking a swing in his prime...gotta love it!!

That '58 All-Star card was the very first Mantle I ever got.

It has everthing about classic baseball card collecting - vintage Topps pose , bright colors, a specialty card and - Mickey Mantle.

It finally came today. WOO HOO!!! Can't stop starring at this card. Absolutely beautiful!

Sport Magazine, high pants, no batting gloves, the fonts, bold 50's colors, THE ball player, sweet swing: that card is a Time Capsule.

No wonder it is so loved!
