When I was buying them, the liberty ones usually did have a premium over the ones that actually depicted wives. I don't remember jefferson being a huge premium like jackson, but still it sold for more than martha or abigail.
I would definitely try for 5% or even 10% over spot, as the added value for fabrication, but there's virtually no collector or numismatic value above spot for 69s or raw, because almost all the first spouse coins, including the generic types, are much lower in mintage numbers, as you undoubtedly know. If you can't net at least 5%, please don't sell unless you're under duress.

too many out there, common buy price is about 95-96% of spot.
the good thing is, spot being where it is, you are making a profit over issue price.
