PM sent.....I have a large vintage football collection that would be for sale for the "right price."
  • Actually, I dont think everyone is looking for large collection or mint commons. For 30 years I just collected single star cards. Why do you have to slam someone who is looking for something? I have bought many large lots of common cards through the message boards. If your unhappy with my post, please just move on.

I have been looking to sell my collection..but refuse to dump it. I am getting tired of selling piece by piece and getting lowball offers on prime vintage. Click my sigline link to see it.

Unless you get really lucky, usually you have to choose. If you want good money or top dollar, you have to do the leg work of piecing it out yourself. If you want to avoid the work and let someone else do it, they're going to make an offer that puts dollars in their pocket.

I have two or three thousand cards from the 60's and 70's mostly commons that I would let go of. Baseball mostly 1968,1970, 1971,1972,1973,1974,1975. Some must be from vending they are so clean. Football mostly 1974,1976,1977. Minor baseball stars from various years include Koufax, Mantle in action, Rose, Aaron, Bench, many Seavers and Gibsons. Been sitting in closet for 20 years. I will get much more specific if someone wants to make an offer on the baseball or football lot or both. Nearly complete sets include 1973, 1974, 1975 baseball and 1974, 1976, 1977 football.
