2007 - present Donruss Elite baseball.. are these cards considered minor league cards?

Donruss has been producing cards of various draft picks and prospects for the last few years w/o any licensing from the MLBPA or MLB, so they picture the players with logos obscured, in minor league uniforms, or even college uniforms. They've got a lot of autos in the set too... but so does Tristar and Just Minors, who are known specifiically as minor leauge card producers..
So, in the grand scheme of things, do these cards count as minor league cards, major league cards, "Prospect cards", or what?
With the MLB forced "rookie card policy" that Beckett's adhering to, it seems like the "Prospect Cards" that you find in Bowman Chrome are the new XRC or something.

<< <i>I put them in the same category as Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects >>
I would agree with the above statement. From a price aspect they always seem to sell for just a bit under the Bowman Chrome versions of a player but seem to be generally wanted by collectors more so than say Razor or Tristar. So, I would all them MLB prospect cards.

a handful of very good prospects that right now only have one auto and that is elite. Putting them in the same catagory with tristar and just is a huge mistake.
