I think I saw this one a few months back on E-bay and it got removed, but it's back. It's from a seller in China and the cert. # matches, but the real one sold at Heritage in 2008 and looks nothing like the one on E-bay.Here's a link to both.Should Pcgs be notified?

It almost looks like they photoshopped the label from the Heritage coin onto the photo of theirs. I didn't know they were faking the OGH...

    Just getting into the hobby?
Unless it looks terrible in hand, that one could fool me and I've been collecting since I was 12.

Believe it or not, a number of genuine coins have been sold on Ebay from China. And I think I have even seen some Trade Dollars among them.

Mark, do you believe the Heritage coin- with the same insert number as the coin from China, are in fact, the same coin?

No. Odds are excellent that the Heritage one is genuine and the Ebay one is counterfeit. But I'd likely say the same, regardless of where the seller was located.

But the probabbility of receiving real coins from China appears to be extremely low. Not quite as low as winning the lottery, but darned close.
