I know it's a DDO but dont know if it is a Partially exposed E in United or a covered E in United and will the hit bag it. Can you help me out please. Thanks in advance,Type2.

Well, Type2, your coin is a type 2 - covered E in United. The center bar of the E does not show. My favorite PUP is the star over the eagle's head. It is upside down on type 2 (single point pointing straight down) while type 1 star stands on 2 ponts like an usual star depiction.

Yeah I think it's a covered "E." I would say you have a 50/50 shot of getting it to slab.

I don't know about the rim dings ( I would worry about the obverse one) but I think the reverse color might be problematic.

If it does get a genuine holder, will PCGS still do the variety attribution?

Nice find on the doubling. These are the things I look for on coins (even though it seems like it's a waste of a lot of time), anamolies are one of my passions in numismatics.

Thank God for shoddy workmanship and those guys making mules.

The obverse rim issue @ 10 o'clock may cause it to get genuined 98.Looks more like a cut than a dingI hope I am wrong!
