    Well, at least it looks like only a few people were stupid. Several people bid multiple times.

    Shall we start a border guard patrol against "Counterfeits on the Bay?"

    I don't know the series well enough but the image just has the wrong looking texture and color to me. Do you really think there is any chance it is real?

    I don't think it's genuine. But a number of posters in this and other threads act as if certain coins are obvious counterfeits and disparage the bidders, without providing any helpful information for those who know less than they do.
