I'm finally starting to have a modicum of interest in rainbow toned Morgan Dollars. This might NOT be a good first specimen:

    So, the instructions are modified to read: "Split cover and place Morgan Dollar inside. Microwave for 5 minutes, stir, then place in oven and bake for 16 hours at 210 degrees. Job done!" image

    Hard to call that one a "rainbow toned" coin.......the thing about toning is learning what 's real and what's not (and why). I think that falls into the latter category.......though it certainly has a "look".

    I've seen multiples of Morgans that look exactly like this from the same seller. I agree with the others, blatantly AT.

    Do they not have rainbows in Ohio??? Nothing like a rainbow in shape or color.

    Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
