Should there be a transition period for the Registry Sets when Plusses come into existence?
In another thread, an excessively prominent member of these boards mentioned that NGC has now started the Plus designation. I read the information contained in the link provided. Here is an excerpt from the NGC information:
"A few website enhancements are being released in concert with the launch of the Plus Designation. Population figures of Plus Designated-coins will be reported in the NGC Census, beginning on May 25, 2010. Coins graded with a will receive a point premium in the NGC Registry. New Registry score tables will be available on the Collectors Society website on May 25, 2010."
To me, putting Plusses on coins and making it affect the Registry Set points is like changing the rules of a football game in the 4th quarter. It simply should not be done. At the very least, there should be a transition period for those who participate in the Registry, so they can have a few months to jockey for position, and perhaps even look at their coins to determine if they are Plus worthy or not, rather than just looking at the labels.
What do you think?

Camelot
can you get a plus and a star on the same coin?
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
