    I live in the PA mountains and we get tons of snow. The schools here usually are just delayed a couple of hours unless it is real bad. We would never get out if they closed every time it snowed. I know kids in Reading still have a while to go but they closed their schools even if it was only an inch or two.

    I actually liked school back in the day. Go figure, right? (lol)

    Here is one that makes me smile....I am at least the third generation of my family to own these coins (there are 4 of them, but only pictures of one!) and when I found them in 2008 is what got me into collecting coins!

    (as an aside, one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing the Edsel listed as the Ford Edsel. Totally, 100% wrong. That would be like referring to a Cadillac as a Chevrolet! Edsel was intended to be it's own brand, situated between Mercury and Lincoln, all of which were intented to be above Ford, but was killed before it could happen)

    Yes it's out for me too. Feels kinda sad leaving 7th grade though because if it weren't for the work school would be enjoyable.

    My college schedule had great summer vacations. We were on a trimester schedule. School started each year after Labor Day. The school year finished the following April 20 [unless you went to school during the summer trimester]. Thus for me, summer vacation started around April 20 and ended around September 6 or 7. A 4.5 month summer vacation was great. I really liked to rag on friends who went to colleges where school did not end until the first or second week of June. They were extremely jealous.
