Would this still get a 9 with a qualifer ST? (pic inside)

image

There's a brown spot/haze on the top. Only seen in the back, but the rest of the card looks like a solid 9. How would that spot affect the grade? Will it most likely get a grade of 9 with a qualifier (ST)? Or is the stain so bad that it automatically disqualifies it from getting a 9, and most likely get a 8 with a ST? What would your guess be?
Thanks for your help everyone.

I would not reccommend using that card in the future for an ash trayimage

that is quite possibly the worst picture ever submitted for a 'what will this grade?' thread. Folks would be better able to give an opinion if the entire card was presented, sans shadows.

    for now...

You would have been better off submitting a drawing made in MSPaint using Windows 3.1

  • You guys didn't read what i wrote under the pic. I wasn't asking for the grade for the overall card, I was asking what would that brown spot on the top edge of the back of the card drop the grade? If the card is a 9, would it get a qualifier (ST) or would it automatically drop to an 8 with an ST?
    Thanks for your help everyone.

I'm pretty sure everyone read it. I think I saw that card on an episode of the X-Files once. That's Mulder's shadow moving towards the card, right?

If they did read it,they didn't answer the question, but I understand. My question is..... if it is a psa 9, would that stain in back give it a psa 9 (ST) or will that automatically drop the grade below 9. That's what I'm wondering.

    Thanks for your help everyone.

i would say no to answer your direct question. have you tried erasing it.

but as to everyone else's comments we couldnt even tell you if that card is worthy of 9 to start with from that picture.

  • Would grade a Bccg 9 Near mint or better . You will get the Stain qualifier with Psa no matter what the grade of the card.

I remember putting a jordan rookie in my tire spokes on my banana seat, curvy handle bars, purple glitter bicycle. I thought I was the coolest kid riding it down the street. (I also had orange tassles coming out of the bars, a flag mounted behind, and a bell that sounded like chiiiiing chiiiiiing. I think this was too much information. Nevermind.

Yah, you're right, but I'm not really asking for a grade though, I just wanted to know if PSA would give me an ST and automatically disqualify the card from ever getting a 9.
    Thanks for your help everyone.

Here is the pic of the front. Sharp corners, rich color, and no creases or wrinkles. The white spots are dust. (It was night time).

That's some funny stuff right there. I give it an "RS" qualifier (Racing Stripe).
