It seems pretty clear to me why your thread was deleted.
You called someone a "deadbeat?" for canceling a transaction and leaving negative feedback. And I believe you posted his city and state, mentioned, (based on second hand information) that there were other problems with the person and insinuated that because he used different names, he was (not in your specific words) a bad apple, to be avoided. It appeared that were few facts/specifics, combined with a considerable amount of innuendo.
Guy never paid, tried to cancel transaction after a week of non-communication, left negative feedback to a seller with hundreds of positive transactions...how much more fact do we need here?

Exactly. Just disrespectful in every sense. Someone that leaves a NEG after THEY don't pay after a week goes by without communication is a deadbeat (tell me how one is not.)
It turns out I am not alone as I started getting PM's telling me that they had similar negative experiences with this character.

We only heard one side of the story. And in addition to that, the thread was not confined merely to that one Ebay transaction. There were a number of other negative comments containing innuendo, and not necessarily relevant facts. The OP claims to have no idea why the other thread was deleted. Curiously, do you feel the same way?

Respectfully disagree as I have evidence from myself and other forum members. Feel free to PM me if you want the proof. But this is your forum so you get the final word.
I have never outed anyone before and I would never do so unless I was 100% sure on the matter.
I thought it would be kind to warn others but I know that no good deed goes unpunished.
