Teletrade Question

I see in their FAQ:

"During auction hours, you may also access current bids or become a bidder yourself using any touch tone telephone over our toll free 800 lines."

Does that mean that Internet bidding is no longer available during the actual auction hours, and that you must use the telephone instead?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I've never used Teletrade before.

    See the part about "also"?
So, when the auction is going, they have multiple ways for you to make bids.....of course, the internet is easiest, but if for some reason you can't get "online" with a PC, it appears that the "old" ways of calling in to bid are available....

During auction hours, you can ABSOLUTELY make bids on coins using the internet.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Thanks a bunch for the heads-up. I figured you could use both phone and Internet, but just wanted to be sure.

    phone bidding is very old

they had that before the internet, and still do
  • Yeah i remember they used to send out the hard copies of there auction listings by mail. All you had to go on was their descriptions. Actually ended up with some very nice coins though going strictly off their printout. Guess I was lucky!
