This E-Bay listing didn't last long. I would have bought this in a heart beat. A Fair 2 Wreath Cent for $775!

Less than 3 hours. When it came up in my search it showed 29 Days, 21 Hours, and some odd minutes remaining.

What is market value of this coin? I see that a PCGS AG3 is valued at $1,350.

The coin has a good amount of corrosion, and probably wouldnt slab today.

I agree.... I would have picked it up though. Where have you seen a wreath cent for under a grand?
  • Last time I was kicking myself for missing a Wreath cent it was a NGC AG3 @$450. Can't get use to the new prices.

edited to add that wasn't all that long ago.

That slab looks pretty new to me and the photos aren't good enough for me to make that call. --Jerry

I looked at the coins on Shawn Yancy's site.

While the photo is not great, I find the PCGS graded FA02 at below $800 a much better deal than the 2 "AG03" coins on Shawn's site.

Here is an image of one listed as AG03. The FA02 looks much better.

i wish the pics were better. still might not be a bad grab thou
  • I am a longtime lurker and actually ran across this thread. I bought this coin for $450 a few days ago from an employee at a coin shop. He bought it raw for not too much money from the coin shop several years earlier and I told him to submit it. Many didn't think it would slab, but it has nice color. I didn't think it would sell that fast, and priced it at $899 with best offer. That was the only offer I got. I am sure whoever bought it will be happy with it as finding one in a graded PCGS holder that cheap is pretty tough. That was my first Buy it now/best offer auction I have ever listed, I actually like the format and will list some other coins today.

Welcome to the Boards Veramacoor! Nice to have the seller chime in. Well I wish I caught the auction sooner... I would have paid your BIN price. Look forward to seeing what else you sell.
