    It looks like it hit a reef, so it probably sank.









    If not, Krause lists the mintage on that year is 8.9 million regular strikes, so it should be easy to find one for $10 or less. 40,000 proofs minted, value $13. If you can find a Matte proof it lists at $1,600, with only 1-2 known of this variety.
