Canadian coins 1859-1933
Hi all,
I am a US currency collector, so I don't know a whole lot about coins. My father had these coins sitting in his desk for decades, and then back in '94 I inherited them. Since I don't collect Canadian coins, and they are just sitting here, I was wondering if they are worth selling? Do they have any value?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

The 1859 large cent is known as the King of varieties with a few that go for hundreds of $, if it is the common non recut 9 worth about $2.
The 1884 large cent has two obv varieties one of which is very scarce - yours looks like the common one about $5
The 1876H large cent is fairly common about $6
The 1913 dime is the small leaves variety - very common about $2.50
The 1881H 5 cents silver (fish scale) is common for the type about $10
The worn out dime is actually dated 1911 the "godless" legend, one year type bullion value for sterling silver
The two small cents are worth about $1 for the pair
The 1909 quarter is worth about $10
The coin with the best potential is the 1859 cent. Is there any doubling of the 9 or other odd looks to the date at 5x magnification?

Couldn't have said it better myself!!

"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
The date on the 1859 appears completely normal under magnification.
I also have a 1921 cent, similar grade as the other two - I am guessing it is in the $.50 range as well :-)
