Info? 1990 Topps Award Winners Commemorative sheet

Got three of these in a random collection of stuff. I think these are early proofs because I don't recall ever seeing these released to the public. There was a bunch of original Topps photos and other proofs in the collection.

Anybody have any info?

No info Lee, but as a 1990 Topps guy, they're great in my opinion. Please let me know if you find any unique Frank items in your haul.

It's been brought to my attention that these sheets were distributed in 1990 Topps baseball sticker blister packs. I still can't seem to find another one anywhere which seems weird.

I have a large uncut blank back sheet of the 1989 Topps Award Winners issued in the style of the 1990 cards, but even though the 6 players on the sheet are the same as yours, the poses on my sheets are different. The uncut sheet, which has 9 panels of both the NL and AL players, also has advertisements for the 1990 Topps Yearbook and Stickers.

The 2010 SCD Big Book mentions that the photos used for the Commerative Award Winners sheet panels were different for those used with the regular cards in the set. Are the photos on your sheets the same as the regular cards ?

The standard catalog has a listing and the photo they have shows the same format but 6 different pictures for the players that are on CDNuts sheet.

If memory serves me it looks like that CDNuts photos are the same as those on the standard 1990 issues.

Complete set as a sheet is listed at $3. Individually $2.

So basically you're saying that I can stop working and buy that house in Maui I've had my eye on.

Maybe in Haiti. What you have is different from the commemorative Award Winners sheets listed in the Standard Catalog, and different from the regular cards...a mystery

IIRC yours (maybe) were going to be put on a box bottom.

I remember seeing these award winners back in 1990 but can't recall if I saw your specific one.
